We present a hybrid genetic algorithm for Job Shop scheduling that has alterable craft. It integrates GAs with existing well done methods and algorithms, such as heuristic rules, simulated annealing algorithms, etc. This method was applied to simulate Integrated Circuit (IC) production process scheduling of a bipolar IC enterprise. The result proves that the method is effective and feasible.
