In this paper we study a queueing model in which the arrival times of customers are scheduled. The scheduled interarrival time of a customer is arbitrarily assigned. A person that cannot enter the system during this interval is not offered the service and consequently must leave. The delay time and the service time of a customer are assumed to be exponentially distributed. Such queueing models can be found in the patient service system of some hospitals. For this model, we get the steady-state distribution of the system size and that of the waiting time.
