The modelling technique demonstrated considers the cause-and-effect nature of the factors involved in inventory in order to calculate theoretically correct inventory targets. This simple system can be used by almost any type of business for tasks ranging from simple estimation of an overall planning goal by top management to the establishment of specific working targets in production control.
