The aim of this paper is to discuss the consistency of fuzzy judgment matrix. We give the concept of ‘approximately equal’ of fuzzy judgments by Zadeh's extension principle, and define the consistency of fuzzy judgment matrix. With the help of the discussion on consistency, we derive the relationship between the consistency of the fuzzy judgment matrix and the consistency of the ordinary one.
