In this paper, a problem was discussed of how to make the most of mineral wells in the overall casting net drilling process to cut down expenses. Based on two types of distance and certain error means, several mathematical models are constructed by means of graph theory and linear programming and their corresponding algorithms are derived. In addition, the numerical example presented here is calculated by using computer and an optimum layout scheme for designing well is suggested.
