How students perceive the benefits of studying production and operations management

The study polled both graduate and undergraduate college students, asking them to list the benefits they had expected to gain, and felt they had gained from taking such courses. The reasons ranged from exposure to technology, learning decision skills, and familiarity with terminology, to enhancing career opportunities, increasing intracompany cooperation, and reestablishing the United States’ international industrial status.
