In this paper we present some modifications to an existing decision support system called IMOLPWU (Interactive Multiple Objective Programming via Weight-Update Method). IMOLPWU was designed to provide tradeoff information on changes in weights and objective function levels to aid a decision-maker in choosing a preferred solution from a subset of efficient solutions. IMOLPWU is a weight-update method which seeks alternative weight vectors for which a current efficient solution remains efficient. The proposed modifications to IMOLPWU include additional tradeoff information on (1) the efficient solution in a current efficient face that is nearest to an aspiration level, and (2) the relative distances of alternative efficient vertices from the given aspiration level. These modifications are achieved by combining the weight-update method with an aspiration-level method. The proposed aspiration-level method seeks an efficient point in the interior of an efficient face that is nearest a given aspiration level. The modified decision support system is now referred to as CWAIM (Combined Weight-Update and Aspiration-Level Method).
