The paper deals with a new method of system dynamics for simulation analysis of complicated prediction problems. The method is based on our conception of a dynamical system with an explicit structure (DYSES). The construction of DYSES is built upon some concepts from systems theory and graph theory. After a brief description of the deterministic version of DYSES, the paper is focused in a non-deterministic generalisation of this system with uncertainty that is based on Asby's concept of a non-determinate dynamical system and on an interval approach. Some methodological pieces of knowledge and experience from applications of DYSES are reviewed.
