The paper considers pattern recognition algorithms and decision functions that are invariant with respect to some group of admissible transformations of a test space. Theorems are presented on the general form of the decision functions that are invariant under the transformation group under consideration. Correctness conditions are formulated for subfamilies of the family of all invariant decision functions.
