This paper analyzes the general equilibrium model with money. We examine the role of money as a medium of exchange and as a store of value and prove the existence of general monetary equilibrium by existence of the abstract equilibrium for the monetary exchange economy with continuous, weakly convex, strictly monotone and complete preferences and strictly positive endowments.
