Abstract:

The use of preference degrees to solve decision-making problems is presented, where linguistic preference relations are used to represent decision-maker's opinions. Starting with linguistic preference relation a linguistic nondominance degree, a linguistic dominance degree, and a strict dominance degree are defined using linguistic quantifiers, as well as the ordered weight linguistic aggregation operator. These degrees, applied in a selection process, allow us to obtain a solution set in the decision-making problem.
