Abstract:

In this paper, a methodology for locating facilities in a competitive environment is introduced. In this methodology, the multi-criteria approach and the notion of (λ,μ) efficiency are appropriately integrated. The classic ‘distance criterion’ is combined with a second one, a ‘quality criterion’, to produce a more realistic representation of a customer’s decision process.
