In this article we analyze a static urban transportation system illustrated with the problems facing the routing of a garbage-collecting fleet in the City of Leipzig taking ecological data into account. We use a conceptually straightforward approach to determine optimal routes characterized by a new stock point. We present numerical procedures and report experience with our software package.
