Bulk-issues materials and parts are problematic for a manufacturing organization because the stockroom issue quantity for these items is almost always greater than the production requirement. This article presents alternatives for the control of bulk items based on their dollar value, physical characteristics, and the manufacturing processes surrounding their use.
