Data that are given as a continuous function in an area are usually difficult to analyze. Therefore, many algorithms rely on a set of points to represent the area. In this paper we consider strategies to convert an area to a set of points such that the error caused by that conversion is minimized. Analysis of the error in the approximation is provided.
