Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to study a water resource system concerning the quality and quantity of the water. The authors propose mono and multicriteria models which specify the level of treatment imposed to the ‘polluant agents’ and which take into account economic, social and ecological potentially conflicting aspects; this procedure aims at reaching an ‘optimal compromise’ (Pareto optimum). The software used is based on the GRG method (Gradient Réduit Généralise) conceived by J. Abadie.
