Abstract:

The proposed system is a multiprocessor system which consists of several identical memory modules systematically blocked for a certain amount of time following each access. Each processor can access to any other memory module through a connecting network. This paper proposes two approximate analytic models which take into account both the memory interference and the systematic memory blocking. The mathematical tool chosen for modelling this system is the BCMP theorem.
