A simulation model to control material management

In different areas of materials management (purchase, disposal, storage, transport, clearing of refuse) the costs can be influenced by the input of labour. The effects of this input are problems of uncertainty. In this paper some concepts of models for a stochastic simulation of the cost-effects are introduced for situations of various input of labour. The concepts of the models consider different types of organisation of the materials management. Various assumptions are made concerning the number of the uncertain input data, the differentiation of material and refuse groups and the extent of the available labour.
