Interactive decision aiding for group decision support

This paper considers the use of decision analysis as a vehicle for supporting choice tasks in cooperative group decision making; specifically, it develops an interactive approach for the aggregation of group members' preference judgements in the context of an evolving value representation. During the analysis, the common value representation conveys areas of conflict and disagreement, and as the group members describe their preferences in more detail, the set of nondominated alternatives becomes gradually smaller.
