The paper presents Decision Support System (DSS) oriented to decision making related to the development of commercial yachting on the Adriatic coast. Considering the characteristics of the problem the developed DSS includes system analysis which serves as a basis for designing relational structure data basis according to the actival problem. Interactive relation of data bases with optimization and simulation models makes it possible to obtain optimal solutions on all levels of decision making. Simulation models are used to verify the obtained results by using the ‘What-if’ analysis.
