This paper describes a multiobjective police patrol plan for the metropolitan road segments. The priority based nonlinear goal Programming has been used to formulate the model, the deployment of police patrol units to each segment and to each shift have been considered. In the solution process, all the nonlinear constraints are approximated linearly and then the priority based linear goal programming has been used to solve the model. The procedure has been demonstrated through the problem of the deployment of police patrol units in the metropolitan city of Calcutta, in India.
