This work studies the behaviour of a density dependent S-I-S stochastic epidemic model for a large population size. It obtains as the main result that the limit process, when size population converge to infinity, has a deterministic character and satisface the classical ordinary differential equation diffusion as in the case of a S-I-S studied by Kurtz in 1984.
