Numerical computations of discrete-time solutions for a multi-server queue with balking and reneging

This paper provides transient solutions in discrete-time for a multi-server queue with balking and reneging under arbitrary initial conditions and finite waiting space. Corresponding results in continuous time are also obtained. Explicit closed form expressions are obtained in terms of roots. Sample numerical results are obtained using the closed form expressions. Sample results for the special case of machine interference problem are also computed.
