Abstract:

A fluid model with infinite buffer is considered. The total net rate is a stationary Gaussian process with means -c and covariance function equ1. Let equ2 be the probability that in steady state conditions the buffer content exceeds equ3. Under the condition equ4 the authors show that - admits a logarithmic linear upper bound, i.e. equ5 and find equ6 and C. Special cases are worked out when R is as in a Gauss-Markov or AR-Gaussian process.
