This article was triggered by this journal’s first and most interesting Open Forum discussion paper on OR/MS Education. The author and Editor, Professor Reisman, identified a number of existing problems with the OR/MS educaiton in North America. In this article, the authors describe how the present academic department (in Hong Kong) is successfully addressing some of these problems.
