This article has as its main goal, to show the possibility of using an Operational Research Model known as Data Envelopment Analysis-DEA relating to safety at work studies. The DEA model will indicate the position of the participant companies related to the accidents and, now, as the paper knows the ‘ranking’, one can accomplish a benchmarking, among them, in order to find out which management actions (procedures) allowed to achieve a good performance.
