The busy period of the M/D/ system is intensively studied as a particular case of the M/G/ system busy period, to be a reference. The paper shows that it is possible to compute exactly any parameter of its distribution and to interpret its probability density function. The only problem is how to compute its distribution function for which it gives an algorithm.
