Neural computing refers to the class of massively parallel computation architectures inspired by the modelling of neurophysiological phenomena. The subject has received considerable interests from both academics and practitioners in recent years. There is a growing perception that neural networks can be a viable tool to support decision modelling across a wide spectrum of tasks that are currently based on human judgements and quantitative models.
