A system on categorical data analysis: SANI

This paper describes some non-traditional data analysis methods implemented in the system on categorical data analysis ‘SANI’. Exploratory techniques such as the determination analysis, revealing a block or quasi-block structure in a contingency table and longitudinal data classification are discussed. A modification of the quasi-symmetry model and an algorithm for maximum likelihood estimation of its parameters are considered.
