The problem of allocation of time reserves in a network model is presented. The shortcomings of traditional kinds of time reserve allocation in network planning are pointed out from the practical standpoint. A conclusion is drawn that these kinds of reserves do not meet the requirements of a paper project planning. A background for discussion of the existing methods of time reserves allocation is provided. A new method is proposed for finding a solution to the problem considered, this method being based upon minimization of the irregularity of time reserves distribution within a network model (in effect: in its uncritical sequences). Quadratic programming is used. An example of a problem and a solution is given.
