This paper presents a new method for determining starting dates and slack times in project network models with fuzzy intervals. Compared with the well-known fuzzy network techniques in literature, the new approach has the advantage, that all the definitions of classical network procedure may easily be extended. The calculation of earliest and latest dates, slack times and the recognition of critical paths is demonstrated by means of an illustrative numerical example. By that the process of getting additional information and the inclusion of acceleration costs is also discussed.
