In this paper two realistic aspects are imposed on a transportation system. These are a budgetary constraint and random demands at various destinations. Goal programming has been employed to solve the problem under budgetary constraint with deterministic demands. FGP has been used to solve the problem with random demands. A numerical example has been worked out to highlight the solution procedures.
