Two rates of disadvantageous events in the continuous transportation-storage (CTS) system are considered: the one of demand from an empty storage (deficit) and the second of complete filling of the storage reservoir. Analytical expression for the dependencies between these two rates for the system considered, working in stable conditions, are obtained. It is shown that decrease of the rate estimates is often inconsiderable for certain increases of the storage-reservoir capacity. The values of these estimates depend essentially on parameters of failure-free work of transportation subsystem and on technological parameters. It is also shown that if the CTS system functions in stationary conditions and the speeds of filling and removal from the storage reservoir are equal, then the rate estimates have their minimum values. These minimal values are near zero when storage has sufficiently large capacity.
