Abstract:

The paper presents an application of the MCDM methods for the problem of allocating a given set of workers to specified categories of jobs. The problem was solved in two stages. First ELECTRE III, with weights determined by Saaty’s method, was applied to evaluate the workers with respect to ten given criteria. The rankings obtained in this way then served as inputs for the coefficients of an optimal assignment model of the allocation. Some analysis of the criteria set was performed as well, to discover possible redundancies.
