Being a graduate of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics degree, majoring in Operations Research and Statistics, with more than three years of practice, I would like to share my work experiences with members of the society. This paper will focus on the education of Operations Research and Statistics regarding the pros and cons of doing such a course in the light of what industry demands from us-OR practitioners.
