Abstract:

This paper is concerned with the class equ1 of equ2 real matrices M for which the linear complementarity problem, equ3,equ4, equ5, equ6, has a unique complementary solution for each q such that equ7. It is shown that equ8 lies strictly between equ9 and equ10 the classes strictly semimonotone and semimonotone matrices, respectively, equ11-matrices are equ12-matrices, and equ13 is the largest class of Q-matrices in equ14.
