Although the training of decision makers to utilize information technologies effectively is normally secondary on a manager’s agenda, it is currently being recognized as a key to successful implementation of these technologies. This paper identifies considerations that information technology developers and educators can utilize to enhance the effectiveness of decision maker training, both from a product standpoint and from a learning environment standpoint.
